Approval pipeline for finance edits without manage rights

The approval pipeline for users who can see a finance area but don't have manage rights on it — they submit a proposed change and an approver applies it. Currently wired into Income & Expenses.

Change Request

Raise a proposed edit or deletion from a finance record, with a reason, instead of changing it directly.

  • Raise a request from an income / expense record — an edit or a deletion, with a reason
  • See the requests you've submitted and their status
  • View the approver's decision note on a resolved request

Pending Requests

The approver's queue — review the proposed before → after and apply or reject it.

  • Review incoming requests showing the proposed change or the record to be deleted
  • Approve — the change is written to the underlying record
  • Reject with a note explaining why
  • Filter the queue by status / module / requester
